Having worked in the securities industry on both sides of the recruiting
process (as clients and candidates), we understand the need for individual
candidates to maintain anonymity when searching for career advancement. Advisor
Connector was designed with this specific requirement in mind, allowing
candidates to feel secure that they are in control of the information they
display on our site. This aspect of AdvisorConnector also allows candidates to
"test the waters" without fear of identification by colleagues and superiors.
Data Confidentiality
When you open an AdvisorConnector account, only a portion of the information
entered is displayed to hiring firms. The candidate's name, address, phone
number, resume and e-mail address are not available to anyone until authorized
by the candidate. When a match is found, the candidate is notified via e-mail and
will be provided with detailed information of the job opportunity, and hiring
firm. Candidates will then decide whether or not to pursue the opportunity, at
which time they will authorize AdvisorConnector to release the confidential
portion of their profile in hopes of obtaining an interview. In short: job
candidates always control when their contact information is released.
Candidates should remember not to conduct searches or post profiles from their
office computer, or to use their company e-mail address. Use your own personal
computer and e-mail address. Your current employer has the right to inspect
incoming and outgoing e-mail, which could prove detrimental to your current
employment situation.
Before your confidential information is released, you will be informed as to the
company and branch to which the information will be sent. The branch office is not
authorized to share this information with other branches within the firm, or
with any other outside sources.
However, since the data is no longer under our control, we cannot accept
responsibility for its misuse. If you know of any instances in which
information from our database is being misused or compromised, please inform us
immediately.
AdvisorConnector was developed with the goal of allowing candidates and
clients to interact on the basis of the most pertinent information required,
while maintaining the essential aspect of a confidential, anonymous job search.
We feel that by freeing candidates from the fear of having their job search
reaching unwanted individuals, they will be allowed to advance their careers for
the future without fear of compromising their current positions.

An SSL certificate has been purchased for the use of the site; thereby any and
all information which is provided to AdvisorConnector Inc. has been secured
